The pipe rolling shop is equipped with two continuous furnaces, a piercing rolling mill, two Pilger rolling mills, a heating furnace, a sizing mill, a dressing mill and a straightening press.
The shop manufactures carbon steel pipes and alloyed steel pipes for general purposes, pipes for flasks and oil pipelines (casing pipes and drill pipes), Size ranges of the pipes are as follows:
- outside diameter from 168 to 325 mm:
- wall thickness from 7.0 to 20.0 mm,or from 24 to 80 mm In case of pipes used for mud pump bushes.
The shop is the largest flask manufacturing shop in the CIS.
It manufactures carbon steel flasks and alloyed steel flasks for various compressed gases with the operating pressure of 100 to 630 kg/cm2, the flask capacity being 20 to 80 litres, as well as automobile flasks with the capacity of 50 litres for operating pressure of 200 kg/cm2.
The shop has a department manufacturing electric-helical-welded pipes with the diameter of 159 to 630 mm and wall thickness of 4.0 to 5.5 mm.
