The catering and trade subdivision of llyich Iron and Steel Works is the bigges! commercial association of Marlupol specializing in the production and selling of numerous food products.
It consists of 47 catering departments (including cafes, bars and restaurants), the extensive net of retail trade subsidiaries, the stations for processing milk, meat, fruits and vegetables, fish .There also exists a food production complex with bakery and confectionery shops, with the departments for the production of pasta and frozen partially prepared food, with grocery and vegetable depots and subsidiary services.
During the last years production of more than 60 items of dairy products is mastered. Meat assortment was extended from 20 to 100 items. The confectionery assortment was 90% renovated, now mounting to 90 items,
Beginning from 2002 new type of production is commercialized-the bottling of llyich drinking water, with the monthly capacity 1100 t. Lines for the production of 1500 bottles of soda water per hour and also for the production of 20 kinds of beverages with fruit fillers are put into operation,
At the annual regional expositions Public Catering and Trade Administration repeatedly received the winner awards in nominations; "The high quality of products", "The optimal combination of price and quality", "The best exposition", "General recognition".
At 2003 the first Public Catering and Trade Administration drugstore "llyich-farm" was opened.
