The overhauling of the supporting girders of BOF ¹ 1 has been completed within the shortest time.

As we reported earlier, the Blast Furnace ¹ 4 of Ilyich Iron & Steel Works was stopped for the scheduled repair of the 1st degree, the repair is to be finished in 70 days. During this period the BF repair brigade will replace step by step the furnace equipment with new ones, from the bottom to the top.

Only the Gas Ducts and the Inclined Bridge will remain the same, but they will be modernized. Electrical, Weighing and Ins.....
